"Seeds Planted in Fertile Soil"
"Seeds Planted in Fertile Soil" is designed in 4 phases: Phase I
is a four-night evangelization revival (mission) extended to the entire parish; Phase II
"A" and "B" consist of a 30 + 60 hour pastoral training for 50 adults
committed to evangelization; Phase III is evangelization to 60 youth; Phase IV is youth
ministry training for adults and youth and a retreat for 60 more youth.
PHASE I - "Planting the Seeds" is a four-night evangelization
revival (mission)
PHASE II "A" and "B" is pastoral training in
evangelization.
PHASE II "A" consists of four sessions: (1) Evangelizing Catechetically; (2)
Ministry of the Whole Person: Mind, Body, Soul/Spirit; (3) Effective Ministry in the
African American Communities; and (4) Jesus Christ the Minister.
PHASE II "B" consists of training with 10 cassette tapes and an accompanying
packet of worksheets and includes professional on-site assistance.
PHASE III - Youth Retreat (a weekend experience).
PHASE IV - Youth Ministry Training.
Goal
The primary goal of this program is to effectively evangelize
people into the life of Jesus Christ and His Church.
