Bethany: Catechetical Enrichment Program

The Bethany: Catechetical Enrichment Program is a ten session, sixty hour, spiritual enrichment program designed for those in ministry within the Roman Catholic Church.  The program's content is derived from 10 cassette tapes (see products), accompanying worksheets, Sacred Scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

Goals

The Bethany: Catechetical Enrichment Program would have:

  • engaged individuals in prayer and Bible study.
     
  • personally enriched participants spiritually.
  • provided its participants with a deeper understanding of Christian doctrine as it applies to life.
     
  • enabled participants to discuss with one another their insights of Christian doctrine ascertained from the cassette tapes, the Bible and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
     
  • created a spiritual, cultural and social bond among participants that affirms their commitment to Christ, the parish(es) and the community at large.
     
  • empowered the participants to more effectively minister to the faith community and evangelize within and beyond.
