MARANATHA: Pastoral Training Program
The MARANATHA: Pastoral Training Program is designed for effective
ministry that reflects the teachings and principles of Jesus Christ and the Roman Catholic
Church. The thirty (30) hour training program runs (Session I & II) two weekday
evenings for three hours a day followed by a full day Saturday for six hours; (Sessions
III & IV) - has the same time schedule the following month.
Goals
The Pastoral Training Program would have:
- trained its participants for effective social ministry that
reflects the teachings and principles of Jesus Christ and the Roman Catholic Church.
- enabled participants to minister in accordance with the mission of
the Church that evangelizes and catechizes.
- fostered a growth in faith and re-commitment to responsible
ministerial leadership within the larger African American community.
- equipped its participants for social outreach and direct services.
