Sr./Dr.
Oralisa Martin is an incisive African American woman, a prophetic preacher, an ardent
teacher, revivalist and charismatic healer. She has profoundly affected the lives of
more than 20,000 Christians with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Sr./Dr. Martin
has the ability to teach Christian doctrine in a way that inspires, informs and transforms
the human experience. She preaches "from the pew". With unfaltering
commitment and love, she has taught youth for over 20 years. Sr./Dr. Martin has
proven herself skillful at program design and has conducted High School retreats.
She has addressed over 5,000 African American youth. |

Oralisa Martin received her Doctorate of Ministry degree from Howard University School of
Divinity (HUSD), Washington, D.C. Sr./Dr. Martin graduated summa cum laude
from the Divinity School where she also received the 1993 Scholarship and Dissertation
Award. She has also earned a Master of Theology, summa cum laude, from
Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana and a Master of Religious Education from
Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Sr./Dr.
Martin is founder of the African American Catholic Catechetical Conference in Los Angeles,
California. She is also founder of the ORACLE program and co-founder of MARANATHA:
An Evangelization Training Program.
Sr./Dr. Martin travels extensively giving
revivals, retreats, and keynote addresses. Some of her workshop topics include
catechesis, evangelization, effective pastoral ministries and scriptural understanding and
insights. In addition, she provides in-service training for Catholic School teachers
teaching Black learners. |
